Description
The kit is suitable for detailing one GRCW wagon as built in the period after 1915 using longer buffer guides and 13″ diameter buffer heads.
It includes the following components:
- Gloucester Type 4S axlebox (rectangular type) with 5 leaf spring
- Ribbed round buffers (11.5″ guides).
The buffers are supplied in two versions: with a (13″) printed head, and bored to suit fixed or sprung metal heads (not supplied). Axleboxes have a elongated recess for use with sprung axles.
