We provide a range of components to add highly detailed and appropriate finishing touches to your models. In addition to those components that we include our kits, there is a growing range of other components that have been produced at the request of other modellers for their projects.
Our detailing products are divided into a number of categories which can be accessed from the links below:
Detailing Kits
These contain a set of axleboxes with attached springs plus a set of buffers with both printed head and bored options provided in the pack. The latter option requires the modeller to source their own buffer heads and optionally springs.
The detailing kits are the same as supplied in our kits and are designed to provide the main items required to detail one wagon for your chosen company and/or period in one simple to source pack. As with our detailing packs, a spare buffer is provided in case you lose one.
Buffers
These packs are available in a wider range of styles than are available in full detailing packs. They provide the builder with more options to model specific prototypes.
Unlike the detailing packs, each buffer pack contains either buffers with heads, or without. Each pack contains twenty buffers in your chosen style.
Axleboxes & Springs
This category includes both axleboxes combined with springs as used in our detailing packs, as well as separate axleboxes and springs. As with our buffers, the combined axlebox and spring assemblies are available in a wider range of styles than is available in detailing packs.
These packs (combined axleboxes with springs and both separate axleboxes and springs) contain enough parts for two wagons.
Ventilators
This range of components allow the finishing touches to be added to van and coach rooves. They are supplied in packs of twenty ventilators.
