Meon Valley Models exists to provide railway modellers with a new range of highly detailed rolling stock kits based on original drawings and contemporary photographs and delivered using the latest production techniques. We aim to produce models in two versions: a body only version where a suitable brass underframe exists and a version that includes running gear. These are supported by a range of detailing components.
Our philosophy and approach is covered elsewhere, but we have one key difference: we want to work in co-operation with small manufacturers and retailers of complimentary products. If you have the opportunity to purchase one of our kits from one of our partners along with any other items needed to complete your project then please do that. Our products are available direct from us through this web site if other options don’t work for you. Either way, let us grow railway modelling and have fun doing it!
Update (June 2025):
A number of new LNWR wagon bodies are now available via London Road Models in addition to the PO and MR bodies available from Brassmasters. The LNWR bodies will be added to this web site in the coming weeks. Several additional bodies are in development.
Following renewed interest in our detailing components, especially buffers, these will also be added / updated shortly along with the ability to order direct.
