Description
Early pattern Gloucester 7 plank open wagon with side and end doors. Internally braced sides built on a 15′ underframe, wagons from this period have many similarities to dumb buffered wagons.
Supplied with a detailing kit (MVC 4016) that includes:
- Gloucester 4S pattern (rectangular) axleboxes with 8 leaf springs
- Reinforced (ribbed) pattern buffers (9½” buffer guide)
The buffers are supplied in two versions: with a 12″ printed head, and bored to suit fixed or sprung metal heads (not supplied).
Alternative 4N (rounded base) axleboxes with springs are available separately (MVC4007).
All versions also require wheels, paint, transfers and couplings to complete.
